S. Herrington discovered sculpting in early childhood—shaping clay dinosaurs in first grade—and has continued refining the craft for decades. Along with work in other media, a number of his earlier sculptures have achieved international popularity and have been covered in diverse outlets ranging from The New York Times and Artnet.com to The A.V. Inspired by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s dedication to difficult and often unpopular causes, Herrington sought to create a tribute that honored that perseverance. From fighting corporate polluters and exposing environmental harm, to taking on biotech giants and challenging entrenched pharmaceutical narratives, RFK Jr.’s activism represents a rare combination of courage, principle, and effective strategy. This sculpture is meant to celebrate and honor that journey and contribute in a small way to the wider effort supporting Mr. Kennedy’s work.

The original bust was sculpted in multiple attempts over several months in the Pacific Northwest, with repeated refinement to capture the unique structure and expression of RFK Jr.’s face. Custom silicone molds were then created, and now production has begun. Each cast is meticulously smoothed, patched, primed, hand-painted and finally sealed. The finished sculpture expresses the character and presence of this modern champion of health, environment, and truth and can be proudly displayed.
